Xander is a research assistant for Kyle Meng working on the economic impacts of environmental policy while pursuing his Ph.D. in environmental macroeconomics at UC Santa Barbara. Prior to working for emLab he served as a research assistant on the President’s Council of Economic Adviser’s from 2017 to 2019 as a research economist. He graduated with a B.A. in Physics and Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA in 2017. When he’s not frustrated with computer code, Xander can be found surfing or watching the NBA in his free time.
