Kendra Walker

Bio

Kendra is a Remote Sensing Specialist at emLab. She is working on a variety of projects focused on identifying causal relationships between policy, human behavior, and environmental outcomes. Prior to her work at emLab, Kendra lived extensively in Gabon and Panama and conducted research on complex issues at the intersection of humans and nature, including farmer-elephant conflict and land tenure and deforestation patterns across multiple decades. Kendra has a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Management from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. When not on the computer, Kendra enjoys hiking in the forest, traveling, riding roller-coasters, and playing games with her family.
