Bio

Mook is a Postdoctoral Researcher at emLab researching land-based climate solutions, a joint project with Princeton University. His research focuses on the relationship between environment and development, and explores how households across The Global South are affected by environmental change and the climate crisis. He holds PhD and MSc degrees from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University. He previously worked in the Climate Group of The World Bank. Starting in August 2024, he will join the faculty of the Penn State School of Public Policy as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Policy. Outside of work, Mook loves watching and playing sports (cricket, football, soccer, tennis, basketball, curling, etc.), practicing yoga/meditation, cooking gluten-free and vegan food, and stocking up on local fruits and vegetables from the farmer’s market.
