Lennon oversees our fisheries and marine spatial planning work at our Blue Prosperity Coalition Sites for our collaboration with the Waitt Institute. She also leads the development of new projects and engagements at emerging sites, oversees our work plan with the Waitt Institute and coordinates our Waitt Institute Science Team. Prior to working at emLab, Lennon worked as a technician on a shrimp aquaculture farm in Hawaii, was a NOAA contractor conducting assessments for data-limited fisheries to provide scientific advice for the Western and Central Fisheries Management Council, and served in the Office of the Chair for the International Scientific Committee for tuna and tuna-like species in the North Pacific. Lennon received a bachelor’s degree in marine biology and a master’s degree in marine science from Hawaii Pacific University. Outside of work, Lennon enjoys freediving, ocean swimming, and gardening.
