Jasmine Schwam

Bio

Jasmine is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, majoring in Environmental Studies with a Professional Writing Minor in Science Communication. As a Science Communication Intern, Jasmine creates multimedia content and develops social media strategies to amplify emLab’s research. She is passionate about making scientific topics accessible to the public to influence positive change in the environmental sector. Outside of emLab, she is the founder and president of UCSB’s Science Communication Club and the Executive Producer of The Environment of it All (Et al.), an environmental research podcast. In her free time, Jasmine enjoys hiking, watercolor painting, making jewelry, and curating playlists on Spotify.
