Jordan Wingenroth

Bio

Jordan is a data scientist who joined emLab in 2025. He builds models evaluating societal effects of energy policy and greenhouse gas emissions, working closely with Dr. Kyle Meng. Before joining emLab, Jordan was a research associate at Resources for the Future in Washington, DC. As part of his research on broader climate, energy, and land-use policy topics, he coauthored one of the principal journal articles informing the EPA’s 2023 update to the estimated Social Cost of Carbon. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Northeastern University and an M.S. in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California, Berkeley. Aside from his position at emLab, his others include right wingback on his Sunday league soccer team and goofy-footed on his surf-, skate-, and snowboards.
